Matsumaru Fumihiko was stood up by a female workmate whom he had asked out to the movies with him. Just as he was about to toss the tickets away, a cute girl appears and attends the movie with him so the tickets wouldn't go to waste - where she surprises him by reading all the subtitles aloud...
Later near his house, he sees a fire. He goes to see it and the girl from earlier is on a swing crying. Her place is the one on fire. She lost everything. Feeling sorry for her, he takes her to his place. One thing leads to another..... The next day, she is gone with a note.
